Using one of the original Apollo Transporters, the Ares 1-X rocket, NASA’s next generation launch vehicle, rolled out to Launch Pad 39B this week.
NASA has instrumented the vehicle with over 700 sensors. Their goal is to get sufficient data from the flight, currently scheduled for Oct 27th, to validate the computer models used to build it.
